You can upload images using two methods. Either through ebaypix website or using an FTP client

To use the ebaypix website click on the button on the tool bar. In the upload page you can create folders to store and manage your pictures in.

To upload an image in the section 'Upload image' click on the 'browse' button and select the image on your computer that you wish to upload. You can select up to 3 images at a time to upload providing they total less than 2mb in size. Once you are ready to upload click on the 'upload' button

You can organise your pictures into folders for easier management. Simply click on the button in the Folders section. You will then be asked to enter a name for the new folder, this can be anything you want but can only contain alphanumeric characters

To upload to your new folder simply select it in the 'Folders' section.

You can use any FTP software to upload your pictures to your ebaypix account.

A simple FTP client and free to use is Cute FTP LE.

To setup Cute FTP LE to access your ebaypix account click on 'File' and 'Connect'

Enter the following details from your ebaypix account.

• Host: ftp.users.ebaypix.net
• Username
• Password

Then click on connect

Once you have connected you can use the left hand pane to browse to the location on your computer where the picture you want to upload are stored. Select the images you want to upload and click on the little arrow to upload.

Open SmartFTP and click on 'File' then 'New remote browser' and a new window will open

Enter the following details from your ebaypix account.

• Host: ftp.users.ebaypix.net
• Username
• Password

Then click on 'OK'

Once you have connected you can then drag and drop files into your ebaypix space.

In Auction wizard 2000 you will need to setup an ftp account. To do this click on 'File' and then 'FTP Accounts'. A new window will open.

Click on the 'add' button and enter the following details from your ebaypix account page.

• FTP Host Name
• Username
• Password
• HTTP Address: http://users.ebaypix.net/username/ (case sensitive)

Then click on close

If you want to put your pictures in subdirectories make sure that you include the subdirectory in both the Remote directory and the HTTP Address.

In Blackthorne you will need to setup a new picture host account. To do this click on 'Tools' and then 'Options'. A new window will open and under the Accounts section select 'Picture Hosts' ant then 'New'

Enter the following details from your ebaypix account page.

• Username
• Password
• Host address: ftp.users.ebaypix.net
• Pictures Web Address: http://users.ebaypix.net/username/ (case sensitive)

Then click on 'OK'

If you want to put your pictures in subdirectories make sure that you include the subdirectory in both the Host address and the Pictures Wed Address.

You will need to use third party software to edit your pictures like photoshop or Clic*pic.

You can download Clic*pic from 'http://www.isdntek.com/clikinstall.htm'

In Clic*pic you will need to setup an ftp account. To do this click on 'File' and then 'FTP Settings'. A new window will open.

Make sure that 'custom' is selected in the Image Host section and then enter the following details from your ebaypix account page.

• FTP Host Name
• Username
• Password
• HTTP:// picture path : http://users.ebaypix.net/username/ (case sensitive)

Click save settings

Then click on close

Once you have uploaded your pictures to your ebaypix account you then need to create your ebay listing.

Log into ebay using your ebay account details and click on 'sell'. Enter your item title and click on 'start selling'

At the bottom of the page under section 6 click on 'Sell Your Item form'.

You will be asked to select a category for your item and click on 'Continue'. In the section 'Describe the item you're selling' click on the HTML tab.

At the position you want the picture to be displayed go to your ebaypix upload page and select the picture you would like to appear. Copy the 'HTML' code from the picture and paste it into your ebay listing

You can repeat this as many times as you like to include many pictures or you can use the simple templates on the ebaypix upload page

Once you have uploaded your pictures to your ebaypix space, in the upload page select the pictures you would like to include in your auction.

Then click on the button and the template page will be displyed.

In the template page you can choose the type of template and enter your item description for your ebay listing.

To preview your template click on the 'preview' button

When you are happy with your with your description click on the 'show code' tab and select the code. You can then copy and paste the code to your ebay listing.
